Do you want to look your best on your wedding day?

There are three angles of a face where you will look better. If you do not believe it go into an artist gallery in Boston and look at the paintings. The images in the galleries do not have you looking all over the place but they were very specific. Why was this? This of course was due to the fact that the masters knew how to take a portrait in the most pleasing manner.

Today with candid photography that has gone out the window. Some brides think that if you can take a photo with a digital camera that you can now be a wedding photographer. Some brides will have a friend of theirs can take the photos to hold down the cost.

The Decemberists

This past season I was hired to film a wedding where the groom was a music promoter and he had some of his bands perform at the wedding. They sounded great and I had a chance to tape the Decemberists playing to the crowd. I only wish I had a second camera on that shoot. Oh well it was a fun party to film.

Where is the time going this January?

Does anyone have a January that keeps getting busy? I have had a busy month and so was December. I had a chance to see the movie Avatar in 3D and also Precious. They are two fantastic movies so if you get a chance you should see them both.

Where did 2009 go?

Another busy year has passed on and can you remember everything that went on in 2009? Of course not. Have you ever thought what you wedding day will be like without having a professional videographer document your wedding five years in the future. You will never be able to remember your day. You have thought all your life how you will look walking down the aisle with the sights and sounds playing in your head. Do you actually think you will remember that moment in ten years?

You could if you had your wedding professionally videographed in 2010. I have been active in wedding coverage since 1980 and been to many weddings where the couple did not hire a videographer. Things are not the same as when your father pointed a video camera at you as a child. Look at my site for recent samples and think of what you will remember five years from your wedding.
