Need info for your stay on Cape Cod?

I almost forgot about more help that I can give you to find information about Cape Cod listed by town. One of the other things that I have done is to set up several websites over the years and one that is most recent is www.welovecapecod.com. You will find info showing some of the merchants on Cape Cod where we live ourselves. You can find places to stay, dine, relax and even where to find real estate agents if you want to stay permanently. I have set this site up for people who come to Cape Cod for vacations so if you want to tell all your friends about www.welovecapecod.com.

Weddings at the Old Seapines Inn

The Sea Pines Inn is another great place to hold your reception. Owner Steve Rowan is a master chef and the food and the ambiance at the Inn is next to none. One of my all time favorites on the Cape where you have an excellent meal, a deck for outdoor drinks, an outdoor wedding location and rooms upstairs where you can stay with your family makes this an ideal location for your wedding.

Over my past twenty five years of weddings on Cape Cod I have done many at the inn. For a smaller wedding this is a favorite of mine and one that I have on my referral list.

Weddings at the Captain Linnell House

Cape Cod Wedding Vendor Captain Linnell House is another of my favorite location for a wedding Venue. In fact my sister had her wedding here. Owner Shelly Conway runs the inn and it is one of the best locations for food at your wedding. Each time I have been there I have been served a fabulous meal. They have the outdoor garden area with a nice gazebo where you can hold your ceremony and also a nice beach up the street where you could have a beach ceremony.

The Captain Linnnell House has a dinning room where you will have your meal and then a large dance floor with a separate room to hold your party. The Captain Linnell House is on my referral list.

Weddings at the Lighthouse Inn

Weddings at the Lighthouse Inn captures the feel of a real Cape Cod Wedding. They have guest cottages where some of your guests can stay and also the Inn where they hold weddings. Over the years each wedding that I have documented there were they were scheduled to have an outdoor wedding on the back porch had turned out to be an overcast day or kind of drizzly so I have yet to do an outdoor wedding on the back porch. I have done many weddings over the years at the Lighthouse Inn and the same very nice wedding coordinator (Bill Sherman) has been there as long as I can remember. Your guests will have the feel of a real Cape Cod Wedding with the interior of the Inn that is all wood and one of those rare venues on the water.

The Lighthouse Inn is also high on my referral list.

Katie Lynch Harpist

I thought I would sprinkle in some of the Wedding Merchants I have worked with over the past 20 years on Cape Cod to give you some ideas. Katie Lynch Harpist gives an elegant touch to your ceremony or cocktail hour. She has beautiful music that she can perform and she also can sing very well. Weddings at the Popponesset Inn

Weddings at the Popponesset Inn are a true Cape Cod Experience. At the Popponesset Inn you will have your wedding reception right on the Beach. The deck that you walk down to has the ocean front facing you. Many of the ceremonies that are held there have the audience sitting hearing the waves in the background as you are saying your rings and vows.

The New Seabury Country Club is also a venue that you can rent for your reception. They have a large bar that is seperate from the event room where your guests can have drinks and mingle during the party. I do have a wedding where I took photos at on my photo site and you can see how the Popponesset Inn was transformed on a Monday wedding two years ago. The Couple hired the Rafanelli Event Group from Boston to completely change the look of the Popponesset Inn for one day and then tear it down the next day after the wedding. It was a magical day. The Popponesset Inn is very close to me (I have my home office in Mashpee - we are in the same town) as well as the New Seabury Country Club. Weddings at the Wequassett Inn

Weddings at the Wequassett Inn are a Cape Cod Experience when combined with the rooms and dining choices. Kalson Pang runs Catering for the Inn and he is an excellent manager and really knows how to run a party. You have several choices for your wedding at the Wequassett Inn.

First you can use the main hall for your wedding and sit approx 200 guests. If you have a smaller wedding you can use the Beach House overlooking the pool. They also have a lawn on the waterfront where you can have your outdoor ceremony right on the water. If you have a 50 member guest list you can always have a weekday wedding using the lawn area for your ceremony and then use the small dining room in the inn. You would even have enough room for a small dance floor. In either case Kalson Pang will handle the details to make your for a perfect wedding and your guests will be talking about your event long after it is over. I have documented many weddings at the Wequassett Inn over the years and it is high on my referral list.

Weddings at the Chatham Bars Inn

The Chatham Bars Inn in Chatham is a beautiful venue to host your very special Cape Cod Wedding. The Inn has the Main Dinning Room but also two other room locations that are special. First there is a Conference Center behind the Inn with a very large dance floor. That is one great location for a large party. In addition there is the Boat House and the Beach House just below the Inn and close to the water. The Beach House is ideal because of the waterfront is right across the sand. To have your wedding in the Beach House will enable your guests to see the water while they are looking at the two of you saying your rings and vows. Cape Cod Weddings are plentiful on Cape Cod. With so many Cape Cod Reception Sites, Tents, Beaches and back yards available for your Cape Cod Wedding you have a lot of choices. Documenting those weddings also offer you a bountiful amount of merchants to capture your Cape Cod Wedding. Cape Cod has all the vendors you will ever need to have your wedding captured with elegance and style. I hope over time to tell you about some of the vendors that I have worked with who have impressed me.
